VO Keyword Research

An internal research tool from Venture Orient, a marketing agency.

What it does

VO Keyword Research retrieves keyword-planning statistics from the Google Ads API for search terms that Venture Orient chooses, for the United States, in English. The statistics are:

• average monthly searches;
• monthly search volumes;
• competition;
• top-of-page bid estimates.

Venture Orient uses these statistics to measure search demand for marketing services and to plan its own advertising.

How it reaches Google data

VO Keyword Research runs as a Google Cloud service account with read-only access to one Google Ads account, which Venture Orient's founder holds personally. It requests only aggregate keyword statistics, which describe search terms, not people.

What it does not do

• No one signs in to VO Keyword Research with a Google account.
• It shows no sign-in or consent screen, and asks no one to grant it access to their Google account.
• It does not collect, store or share any Google user's personal data.

Who uses it

Only Venture Orient uses VO Keyword Research. It is not offered to the public.
